Construction is underway on a new Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) facility to service commercial vehicles at Scottsdale AutoShow at Salt River that the developer says will help local businesses in the area keep their fleets on the road. Chapman Automotive Group broke ground on the Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center, said Jim Mullin, president of Mullin360, the developer of the 80-acre auto mall on Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community land along the Loop 101 freeway.
